Towards the end of each school year, children in Year 6 at primary schools throughout the country are assessed on their attainment in the core areas of reading, writing and mathematics. Children take three SATs (standard assessment tests: reading; maths; grammar, punctuation & spelling. They are assessed by their teachers in writing.

Mathematics 88% (national average 74%)
