Creating Inspired Learners

Welcome to New Valley Primary School

At New Valley, we aim high.  We want every child to achieve to fulfil their potential, and to become a confident, enthusiastic and effective learner, who can go on to succeed at secondary school and beyond.  Just as important, we want every child to become a happy, tolerant, considerate, healthy individual.

Most of all, we know it is the children who make New Valley such a special place.  We are committed to ensuring that children make good progress in their learning, and we place a strong emphasis on developing basic skills in literacy and maths. We are equally determined that children enjoy coming to their school and are proud of it; we are constantly striving to make our curriculum varied, exciting and challenging.

We also know that children learn and behave best when there is a strong partnership between home and school. We are proud of the fact that our school community comes from a wide variety of backgrounds, and we want to involve families in the life of the school as much as possible.

Is your child starting school in September 2020?
